Essex County Council usually funds free school bus transport to Epping St John's pupils if this is their nearest school or due to extenuating circumstances. Other students have the option of paying a £1.50 per journey where spare loading capacity is available. Alternatively, term passes can be purchased in advance which can guarantee a place on the given route by contacting the bus company directly.
The routes are detailed below:
Route 383: Broadley Common/Jacks Hatch/Epping Green/Coopersale/Epping St John's
Route 501: Fyfield/Ongar/Moreton/Magdalen Laver/North Weald/Epping St John's
Route 503: High Ongar/Ongar/Toot Hill/North Weald/Epping St John's
Route 504: Tysea Hill/Abridge/Chigwell/Loughton/Theydon Bois/Epping St. John's
