The school received an Ofsted inspection in June 2015 with the report finally being published by Ofsted in September.

The governors and staff of the school fully accept the outcomes and are now embarked on a programme that will ensure the school gets a Good judgement at its next inspection. It will be noted that inspectors comment upon changes having been made but needing time to be embedded-these changes, along with others that are planned and will be implemented during 2015/16-will make a significant difference to the school and the progress of its students.
We also want readers to note that the inspectors found many good things at the school and, in particular, commented upon the safety and safeguarding of students, the excellence of the new buildings, the promotion of social, moral, spiritual and cultural values as well as the quality of teaching in a number of subject areas.
We look forward to working with parents and keeping the community informed of developments and improvements at Epping St John’s during the next two years.
